The highlight of my career as a wedding photographer in South Africa has been having the opportunity to photograph many diverse cultures and ethnic groups, from Greek Orthodox, Jewish, Christian, Hindu and traditional African weddings.
16 years’ experience has taught me that no two weddings are the same. I have learnt to be prepared to deal with unexpected curve-balls on the big day. At times it may be a radical weather change and sometimes it’s dealing with the complexities of family politics. Whatever happens on the day – I see it as a ‘reality shoot” and there are no dress rehearsals. That’s what keeps each wedding memorable and exciting.
